Flirt is a locally owned business specializing in bra fitting, luxury lingerie, and sleepwear in an intimate boutique setting. POSITION OBJECTIVE:

I have one position open for Flirt's new location in Edina! Position will be for 10-20 hours per week. As a staff person, you will be responsible for supporting and working closely with the owner in all aspects of the business. This is an amazing opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a small business. Along with supporting the owner, you will also work closely with customers by providing personal shopping experiences and excellent customer service. You will learn about brands from around the world, with an emphasis on European lingerie. Flirt’s beautifully curated collection along with customer service is at the forefront of the success of the business. Duties will be ever changing but the core will include merchandise handling, stock processing, organization on all levels, working closely with point of sale system (Shopify), and helping to develop and work closely with our new e-commerce site. I love what I do and enjoy sharing that love with my staff!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in running an entrepreneurial business that has a strong involvement in the community.

• Capable of working in a fast paced and highly flexible environment.

• Experience with luxury level retail is a plus.

• Convey a poised self image of oneself while facilitating a body positive dialogue with clients.

• Flirt is a fashion forward boutique while still maintaining a very classic touch. You should possess a good sense of style and class.

• Able to multitask and handle multiple clients at once.

• Confidence in the ability to make independent decisions without a manager present.

• Must have a friendly and engaging personality.

• Become a bra fit expert and develop full knowledge of the brands we carry.

• Assist owner with visual merchandising and rearrangement of merchandise to keep the store fresh and interesting.

• Process merchandise, ensuring items are tagged and on the floor in a timely manner.

• Work with invoices to enter and receive items into our point of sale system.

• Assist owner with the management of the e-commerce site.

• Assist owner with inventory management.

• Maintain supplies.

• Assists with boutique cleanliness and organization.

• Assist with the development and carry out of in store events.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Have a genuinely interested in helping customers find what makes them feel great!

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Previous retail experience preferred, especially at the boutique or luxury level.

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Excellent computer skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company

• Must be able to work the majority of the shift standing

• Ability to work quickly and within strict timelines

• Ability to demonstrate teamwork

 

Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives.

 

The position will have regular hours  but applicants must also have the ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends when needed, and holidays are required. Hours for this position will be from Sunday through Wednesday.
