Rules of Love and Proximity - Flirt temporarily closing

Our thoughts are with you and yours at this worrisome time. At Flirt, we are doing our best to stay on top of what is happening on a daily basis. After much consultation with staff and neighboring businesses, I have decided to cease our regular business hours as of Tuesday, March 17. We will be available for appointments Mondays through Saturdays, with the understanding that both the person making the appointment and our staff are not showing any signs of illness (coughing, sneezing, etc). We will continue to disinfect and clean the store throughout the day. Please email me at flirtboutique@gmail.com to make an appointment. We will resume regular hours when it is safe to do so.

For those of you who know me well, know I am an optimist and always looking for solutions. I have come up with some ideas to help you shop while still remaining safely at home. If you would like to place a phone order, I have three options... You can make an appointment for curb side pick-up at the shop. Next, we are available to make home deliveries within a five mile radius of the shop. In that case, I will coordinate a time with you, drop on your door step and watch to make sure you come out to take it. We are also offering free shipping on all orders that need to be mailed! Another great way to support small businesses is to purchase gift cards over the phone for future use. If we can sell 180 $100 gift cards between now and the end of March, we will be great! As always, Flirt's gift cards never expire. We do always offer the option to keep gift cards and store credits on file for those who don't want to risk losing them. For gift cards purchased at this time, we will email you a receipt and photo of gift card and keep on file at the shop for you to use in the future.
For those of you who have been long time customers since Flirt's inception in 2008, you have seen me through second locations openings and closings, major shoplifting heists, recession, and other various challenges. Life goes on, the sun shines, happiness prevails! All of this has made me a very strong person and someone who always looks for silver linings. Hopefully we will come out of this as better people...more conscientious of food waste, better at creating fun at home with family, and hopefully helping everyone set aside differences and bring us all closer together. Our similarities far out weigh our differences. A smile and a little love goes a long way...even past the current rules of proximity.
